Anna Miklashevich has performed at prestigious European music festivals such as the Utrecht Early Music Festival, the Lucerne Festival and Wiener Festwochen. A baroque specialist, Anna Miklashevich was a soloist in Handel's Messiah, Monteverdi's Vespers, Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Passions, as well as Schütz' Christmas Story. She has also performed soprano solo parts in Orff's Carmina Burana, Dvorak's Stabat Mater and Saint-Saëns' Oratorie de Noel. Anna Miklashevich's opera engagements include appearances at the Dortmund Opera in 2017 (Philip Glass - Einstein on the Beach, Florian Helgath cond.), Free Opera Company Zürich in 2019 (Raimondi - Il ventaglio, Massimiliano Matesic cond.) and Theater Basel in 2022 (Einstein on the Beach, André de Ridder cond.).
Anna Miklashevich began her musical education in her hometown near Moscow. In 2012 she graduated with honors from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, majoring in choral conducting. To deepen her interest in Baroque music, she continued her singing studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class of Rosa Dominguez. In 2015 Anna Miklashevich won the 3rd International Early Music Competition in Poznan. In 2017-18 she was part of the "School of Excellence" with the renowned singing teacher Margreet Honig at the Basel Music Academy. She continues to receive important impulses in private lessons with Margreet Honig and Heidi Wöllnerhansen.
Anna is a core member of the Zürcher Sing-Akademie since 2017. She also performs regularly with ensembles such as La Morra, Basler Madrigalisten and La Cetra Vokalensemble. Anna Miklashevich can be heard on numerous recordings, including Fauvel's Proposal to Fortune with Marc Mauillon and in the Diapason d'Or award-winning Splendor da Ciel with La Morra.
In addition to her singing activity, Anna Miklashevich enjoys working as a conductor. From 2016 to 2018 she conducted vocal and instrumental ensembles at the International Course for Early Music Halewynstichting in Bruges, and in 2020 she prepared the La Cetra Vocal Ensemble for performances of Mozart's Mass in C minor in Basel and at the Salzburg Festival.
Since 2022 Anna lives in Oslo, Norway with her husband and little son.
